Internship programs

The Summer Internship Program is designed to expose students to the breadth of transactions and the range of talents our teammates possess. We offer summer internship at two levels:  analyst internships for undergraduate students between their junior and senior year of college, and associate internships for students between their first and second year of business (graduate) school. Get a realistic view of Truist Securities through challenging work, practical training, and the opportunity to work and network with many of our bankers.

Internships run for approximately 9 weeks in the summer months with opportunities throughout the country. Often, promising graduates are invited to continue their growth through full-time positions in our Analyst and Associate Programs.

Analyst programs

The skills and experience gained as a Truist Securities Analyst will be invaluable to your career and will further your success in the industry.

We begin our investment in your development with an extensive training program and networking activities. After the completion of training analysts join an Investment Banking Coverage, Capital Markets, or Sales, Trading & Research group to put your knowledge and training to practice.

The Analyst Program is a 2-year program that starts after the completion of BA/BS degree.

Associate programs

As an Associate at Truist Securities, you’re given a high level of responsibility as you assume an integral role on a deal team. We invest in your long-term career development because we’re as committed to your career growth as you are.

Associates work directly with clients to evaluate ideas and strategies and collaborate closely with senior teammates—playing a meaningful role in financial analysis, pitch preparation, new business development, due diligence, transaction execution, and client presentations.

Associates are expected to demonstrate a mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions as they assume a leading role to facilitate relationships with clients and professional peers.

We believe an environment built on teamwork and a diversity of ideas and experiences are paramount to delivering best-in-class solutions to our clients.
