Senior Fixed Income Investment Analyst

As Truist Advisory Services, Inc.’s senior fixed income investment analyst, Evan supports the Investment Advisory team responsible for establishing Truist’s fixed income strategy and outlook. In this role, Evan also works with the Portfolio & Market Strategy team managing portfolios, providing strategic and tactical asset allocation and capital market research, and creating custom-constructed portfolio solutions.

Additionally, Evan provides client advisory services addressing client request for ad hoc fixed income reviews and analysis. Evan publishes Truist’s Fixed Income Yield Snapshot and co-authors the Fixed Income Perspective, Fixed Income Sector Outlook, Market Pulse, Market Navigator, and other related topical and market strategy communications.

Experience

Evan has more than 10 years of investment experience in asset allocation strategies, portfolio management, investment research, market strategy, and new business development. Prior to joining Truist in 2020, Evan joined Truist Investment Services, Inc. predecessor BB&T Scott & Stringfellow in 2019 serving as the advisory fixed income trader. He also helped manage BB&T Scott & Stringfellow’s proprietary Global Core ETF Strategies.

Evan also worked at Davenport & Company in Richmond, VA as an associate vice president and portfolio administrator. There he helped manage the corporate bond and fixed income ETF portfolios and wrote quarterly and market commentaries.
