About me

Background

Roger Estrada is a Business Development Officer within Truist’s Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice. He offers over 21 years of financial services experience that includes advising and managing assets for ultra-high-net-worth families, foundations, and endowments, and is responsible for institutional business development focusing on nonprofits in Florida. 

The practice delivers comprehensive investment advisory, administration, planned giving, custody, trust, and fiduciary services to nonprofit organizations, administering assets for foundations, hospitals, educational institutions, cultural organizations, human service agencies, associations, municipalities, and other nonprofits. 

Before coming to Truist in 2020, Roger served from 2013 to 2020 as the Southeast Regional Foundation and Endowment Director at TIAA, responsible for institutional business development, investment policy development, asset allocation and risk analysis, spending policy and governance consulting, and NACUBO-based peer group reports. He also advised boards on how to improve their investment and fiduciary processes.

He maintains an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation and is a regular at such industry events as NACUBO, SACUBO, AGB, COF, and FPN.

Roger graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in business administration and has completed executive education coursework at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
