Background

Michelle Meeks is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®) designee with more than 25 years of financial services experience. Specializing in working with professional women in transition and high net worth clients, she focuses on the development and implementation of investment strategies to help her clients address their immediate and long-term goals.

Utilizing her more than 20 years of experience in financial management and comprehensive wealth management, Michelle works with clients in a service-oriented, efficient manner. Her systematic approach includes assessing financial situations, determining risk tolerance, and creating and executing appropriate investment plans to obtain measurable results. She also conducts strategic portfolio reviews and rebalancing, as needed, and consults regarding risk management, retirement planning, estate planning, and other critical financial strategies. 

Michelle has been consistently recognized for her outstanding work throughout her career, including Truist’s Performance Excellence Award (2017-2019**). 

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics (cum laude) from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. In addition to earning her CFP® and CRPC® designations, Michelle has completed the Series 7 and 66 and General Principal/Supervisory Exam Series 24. Michelle also holds a Florida Insurance License for life and health, including annuities and variable contracts.

Michelle believes in giving back to her community. She enjoys teaching and sharing her knowledge about financial literacy at local organizations including chambers of commerce, women’s groups, and schools. She has also previously served as treasurer on various associations.
 
An Orlando native, Michelle has two children and is proud to be an active travel soccer and baseball mom. In her spare time, she likes to travel, read, run, and spend time with family and friends.
