Background

John Tulloss joined BB&T in 2012. He is a Wealth Advisor with Truist Bank, offering clients more than 35 years of financial services and retirement planning experience. Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to work in various segments of the financial services industry, including insurance, retail, commercial and corporate banking, and wealth management. John has seen ups and down throughout his life, and continues to apply all of those experiences to help his clients 

As a Wealth Advisor, John encourages clients to take a comprehensive, strategic approach to financial planning even in the early stages of asset accumulation. Utilizing an in-depth financial needs assessment and in partnership with Truist specialists in Banking, Strategic Credit, Risk Management, Investments and Trust & Estate Planning, allows John to develop recommendations tailored to his clients’ needs, priorities, and preferences. Practice focus areas include working with family business owners, multi-generational and blended families, executives, and retirees.

Throughout his years of living in Eastern North Carolina, John has served his communities in leadership roles in various church and civic organizations.  John recently relocated to Carteret County and when not working, enjoys spending time with his family on the water, squeezing in a round of golf, and staying active with daily workout routines.
