Background

David Houchins is a Senior Managing Director and Financial Advisor with Truist Investment Services, Inc., offering clients more than 30 years of financial services, retirement planning, and investment management experience.

He began his investment services career in 1988 with Smith Barney. While there, he was recognized as a business development and client growth leader and named to the firm’s President Council. He joined Wachovia Securities in 1995 as senior vice president and investment officer and was promoted to branch manager in 1998. He joined Truist’s predecessor firm, BB&T Scott & Stringfellow, in 2004.
