Background
Julie Farah is a Senior Trust Advisor with Truist Wealth. She offers clients more than 24 years of experience with trusts and estates, as an attorney and as a trust advisor, and nine years of prior accounting experience.
As integral part of the client’s wealth management team at Truist, Julie helps clients manage their wealth and achieve their goals by identifying wealth planning opportunities involving trusts, insurance, and tax-driven and asset protection entity structures. She develops comprehensive financial and estate plans, and oversees implementation of those plans. Julie maintains current knowledge in fiduciary laws, taxation and other laws that concern clients’ planning and serves as a resource and fiduciary consultant to her clients.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, a Doctorate of Jurisprudence, and a Master of Laws in Taxation. In addition to being an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Texas, Julie is a Certified Public Accountant and is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. More recently, Julie obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIALPLANNER™ certification.
Personal Interests
Julie is the Treasurer-Elect for The League Club, a charitable organization of women. Julie is on the Board of the local chapter of the Estate Planning Council. Over Julie’s career, she has served various organizations in many capacities, including as Treasurer of the Disability and Elder Law Attorneys Association, an Advisory Board Member of the Assistance League of Houston, volunteer at her local animal shelter, and Outside Board Representative, Finance Council Member and Planned Gift Chairman of The Junior League.
